Keegan Waters
2024 Fall Semester DHMF Scholarship Recipient
First HS recipient
Keegan is a 2024 graduate of Valor Christian High School in Colorado. Davis attended Valor as a freshman in 2015-2016 and was a big contributor in helping them win their first ever State Championship.
Keegan will be attending Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois to continue his education and baseball career. As the Fall 2024 DHMF recipient, his scholarship will be applied toward his college education. He will be pursuing a path to becoming a pediatric occupational therapist.
Keegan was a three year varsity baseball letter recipient at Valor Christian and had the opportunity to help lead their program to its first 5A state title in 2023. He was recently awarded the DHMF scholarship for exemplifying what it means to strive to be the best teammate regardless of the circumstances, one of the most prominent character traits of Davis.
Receiving this scholarship is a testament to the mentors in his life who have helped teach him what it looks like to love like Jesus: To encourage and put the needs of others above your own.
- John 15:12-13 "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends".
